Togoal Ore

Togoal is a type of ore that contains numerous minerals. The ore we use in our public bath is mined in the Tochio region of Niigata Prefecture, a famous radium hot spring area. The ion composition of the ore is released into the water and helps boost circulation throughout the body.
“Icho no Yu” and “Ao no Yu” are two large public baths in our hotel that offer ore mineral hot springs. We host seasonal bath events, so please visit us to unwind, relax and escape your hectic schedule.

Different Effects Based On Different Temperatures

Different temperatures effect the body in different ways.
The autonomic nervous system has two different divisions. The sympathetic nervous system accelerates the heart, and is known as the “fight or flight” response. The parasympathetic nervous system slows the heart rate and relaxes sphincter muscles producing a calming effect.

Below 20 ℃ (cold)
Above 42 ℃ (hot)

To Stimulate the Parasympathetic Nervous System
